Clement James Wavra, 93, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Tuesday, November 02, 1999 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 4, 1999 at 1:00 PM in St. Dorothy Catholic Church in Dorothy, MN with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the Prairie View Cemetery near Euclid, MN.
Visitation will be held One hour prior to services at the church on Thursday Only.
Clement James Wavra was born at Tabor, MN September 8, 1906 son of James and Mary (Balek) Wavra. He was raised there and attended rural School. On January 26, 1932 he was united in marriage to Mamie Boutain at Dorothy, MN. They lived and farmed in the area. In 1943 he began work as a carpenter. He moved into Sunset Court in Red Lake Falls in 1983 and has resided at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls since 1994.
Clement was a mighty fine fiddler and enjoyed hunting with his nephews, he also enjoyed fishing. He did clock and watch repair.
He is survived by his three daughters Elaine (Robert) Demarais of Oak Creek, WI; Marlene Olbrantz of Oak Creek, WI and Rosemary Pahlen of Red Lake Falls, MN. 24 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. One sister Clara in Washington State.
Clement is preceded in death by one daughter Clementyne Jeanne Altepeter, four brothers and three sisters.
