Clifford Arveson was born December 24, 1916 at home in Hickory Township, MN, the son of Eddie and Hannah (Bakken) Arveson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. He grew up and attended Little Oak Country School.
On January 6, 1946, Clifford was married to Luella Hanson at the H. T. Hanson home. He lived and worked on the family farm until he moved into the CNC Unit of Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN in June of 2001.
He was an active member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, rural Trail, MN. He was also involved in various community and church organizations. He loved to hunt, fish and play cards, but most of all he enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors.
Survived by wife, Luella; 2 sons, Dale (Candi), Mount Lake Terrace, WA and Gene (Evon), Trail, MN; 2 grandchildren, Bryan Arveson, Grand Forks, ND and Craig Arveson, Brooklyn Park, MN; 2 brothers, Verner (Mildred), Oklee, MN, Lloyd (Mae), International Falls, MN; a sister, Alvina (Alfred) Hanson, Thief River Falls, MN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by parents, and a foster brother, Vernon Christianson.
