Clinton Holm, Thief River Falls, MN, age 53, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Sanford Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Clinton Vance Holm was born March 11, 1963 in Bagley, MN, the son Orlin and Marylou (Hesby) Holm. He grew to adulthood and attended school in Bagley, graduating from Bagley High School in 1981. Following high school, Clinton attended vo-tech in Bemidji, MN for two years.

On July 15, 1989 Clinton was united in marriage to Shirley Davis at Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley. They made their home in Bagley where they raised their two children, Clinton Vance Holm Jr. and Kayla Marie Holm.

Throughout the years he worked for Marty Brothers Feed Store and AMPI – both in Bagley, MN.

Clinton loved to hunt and fish. Spending time with his family and friends was very important to him. Clinton will be remembered as the person that would always be there when needed.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Shirley of Thief River Falls, MN; children, Clinton Vance Holm Jr. "CJ" of Thief River Falls, MN, and Kayla Marie Holm (fiancé, Brandon) of Collette, MN; father, Orlin Holm of Bagley, MN; sisters and brother, Valerie (DeWayne) Smith of Bagley, MN, Michael Holm of Bagley, MN, and Rosalie (Walter Hartman) Holm of Bagley, MN; many nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marylou Holm; and many relatives and friends.
