Corinne Roisland of Thief River Falls, MN age 90, died peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Thief River Care Center in Thief River Falls, MN with her loving family at her side. The funeral to celebrate the life of Corinne will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Faith Assembly Of God Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Luke Stavos officiating. Burial will be at Ekelund Cemetery, rural Goodridge, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held from Noon until 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Faith Assembly of God. Corinne Judith Rindahl was born July 31, 1924 in Equality Township, Red Lake County, MN, the daughter of Theodore and Valborg (Bjorgum) Rindahl. She was baptized in the fall of 1924 at Clearwater Lutheran Church and confirmed September of 1939 at Clearwater Lutheran Church. She attended country school for eight years and Oklee High School in Oklee, MN for three years. On April 8, 1944, Corinne was united in marriage to Henford Roisland at Oklee, MN. She worked in the potato fields around Fisher, MN and Grand Forks, ND. The couple made their home in Star Township, Pennington County, MN and to this union five daughters were born, Diane, Candyce, Suzann, Gail and Lori. Corinne taught Sunday school at Ekelund Lutheran Church. In 1963 Corinne moved to Thief River Falls, MN where she worked as a nurse's aide at Valley Home for over twenty years and later worked at Oakland Park Nursing Home. Corinne was a member of the Assemblies of God Church for over 50 years, most recently a member of the Faith Assembly of God in Thief River Falls. She liked Bible studies, embroidery and flowers and especially enjoyed time with her family. Corinne has said that she always felt best when she was with her children. She is survived by children, Diane (Mark) Larson of Middle River, MN, Suzann (Roger) Riely of Thompson, ND, Gail (Steve) Austin of Cartersville, GA, and Lori (Gerald) Bagne of Ramsey, MN; grandchildren, Kelly (fiancé, Kelli Jo Peterson) Sande, James Bagne, Kevin (Danita) Bagne and Allen Larson; step-grandchildren, Brandi Austin, Nathan Riely and Katie Riely; great-grandchildren, Ailene, Jonah and Naomi Bagne and one more on the way; step-great-grandchild, Xander Riely; sisters, Olga Dahlen and Dellys Rindahl; sisters-in-law, Hedy and Virginia; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Corinne is preceded in death by daughter, Candyce Roisland; parents; siblings, Evelyn, Gladys, Leonard, Sidney, Harold and Kent; and son-in-law, Michael Sande.
