Obituary

Curtis Berg, 41, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at his home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be at 5:00 PM, at the Badger Swedish Cemetery, Badger, MN.

Visitation will be 5-8 Friday at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Curtis John Berg was born November 18, 1964 to John Sigvard and Florence Millie Berg in Roseau, MN. He grew up in Piney, Manitoba Canada, where he worked various jobs growing up. In 1986 Curtis moved to Thief River Falls, MN.

Curtis was united in marriage to Kimberly Renae Alberg on September 20, 1986. To this union two beautiful sons were born, Corey & Chris. In 1988, Curtis began working at Arctic Cat and has worked there ever since. He worked as a field test driver and was known as a hard worker.

Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling for work. The greatest loves of his life were his wife and children.

Curtis is survived by his wife Kimberly, 2 sons, Corey and Chris, Thief River Falls, MN; parents, John and Florence Berg, Piney, Manitoba, Canada; 2 brothers, Gerald (Nancy), Winnipeg, Manitoba; Kelly (Chris), Ardmore, Alberta, Canada; 3 sisters, Marion (Len) Rostie, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Marilyn (Lloyd) Pederson, Menisino, Manitoba; Darlene (Bradley) Bjornson, Carmen, Manitoba; Shelley (Darryl) Alexiuh, Piney, Manitoba; In laws mother in law Theresa Alberg, Thief River Falls, MN; Myles (Kathy) Alberg, Thief River Falls, MN; Ron (Mary) Alberg, Holt, MN; David Alberg, Thief River Falls, MN; Debra (Bert) Erickson, Roseau, MN: many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by 2 brothers Richard and Kevin, father in law Stanley Alberg, brother in law Chad Alberg.
