Cyrilla Rodekuhr, 91, died on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Thief River Care Center with her daughter at her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 11, 2010 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Burial will follow in St. Bernards Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held Thursday 5-8 PM at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Friday.

Cyrilla Kathryn Reller was born March 24, 1919 to Benjamin and Agnes (Braun) Reller at Silverton Township, Pennington County, MN. She was baptized at St. Bernards and has been a life long member of the church. Cyrilla attended country school. As a young woman, Cyrilla worked at Jungs Bakery in Thief River Falls.

She met Charles W. Rodekuhr and they married on August 16, 1941. They made their home in Thief River Falls. To this union two children were born, Judith and Michael. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church, where she was active in many aspects of the church, including the guild and the Catholic Foresters. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Cyrilla looked forward to her family getting together with her nieces and nephews and their families every summer. She enjoyed flower gardening.

She is survived by one daughter Judith Rodekuhr, St. Louis Park, MN, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1997, son Michael in 1982, parents, 2 brothers: Ed and Marcus, 4 sisters: Valeria Vad, Harriet Christensen, Frances Nesland, and Colletta Rassmussen.
