Daniel Anderson, 54 of Goodridge, MN passed away suddenly on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN with his loving family by his side.

A celebration of life to honor Dan will be held from noon until 2:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Goodridge Lions Hall in Goodridge, MN.

Daniel Frank Anderson was born March 28, 1969 in Red Lake Falls, MN to Frank Andrew and Bernice Karen (Hazelwood) Bommer. He attended school in McIntosh, MN.

Daniel worked at various locations in the area including Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls, elevator and seed plant in Fosston, Hydra Mac in Thief River Falls, Erskine Attachments in Erskine, MN, and most recently at Machinewell in Grygla, MN.

While working at the Fosston Elevator, Dan started flirting with the secretary, Lori Keller. On February 6, 1993 the couple were united in marriage at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bejou, MN. To that marriage two children were born, Kayla and Justin who blended with Dan's daughters Ashely, Chelsea and Haven.

He enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren, riding in his Ranger & his motorcycle, cruising in his corvette, pulling his kids on a tube behind his boat, keeping the toys running for the kids, gardening, mowing lawn, snowplowing, toying around outside, hanging out in the garage, spending time with his brother, Bill, and fishing in his earlier years.

For the past 22 years, Daniel has battled with Type 1 diabetes. He had a very strong will and a heart of gold.

Survivors include his wife, Lori of Goodridge; children, Ashely (Kent) Skadsem of Duluth, MN,  Chelsea (Roman) Smith of Clarksville, TN and Haven (Luke) Vandermay of Ada, MN, Kayla (Richard) Davenport of Grygla, MN and Justin Anderson of Goodridge, MN; 12 grandchildren, Olivia, Peyton, Paxton, Paisley, Presleigh, Brantley, Zelda, Freya, Evie, Jessica, Serenity and Leo; siblings, Diane Plante, Judy Black, Bill (Jennifer) Anderson, Tammy (Ken) Kaasa, and Duaine (Amanda Hoiland) Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Bommer; brothers-in-law, Johnny Plante and Roger Black.
