Danielle Walton, 38, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Holt, MN with Reverend Nancy Hanson officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church, Thursday.

Danielle Marie Walton was born August 14, 1969 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, MN the daughter of Allen C. and Christine M. (Lewis) Nieman.

Danielle was baptized into the Lutheran faith. She attended Cambridge elementary schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1988. Following high school, Danielle went to Georgia for a couple of years and worked for a realtor. She then moved to Isanti, MN and worked at various jobs.

In 1993 a daughter, Caroline was born to Danielle. In 1994 she moved to Warroad and in 1999 moved to Thief River Falls, MN. On July 27, 2002 she was united in marriage to Kirk Walton at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Holt. To this union a son, Tavi was born.

Danielle enjoyed being a loving wife and mother. She also loved reading; spending time with family and friends, and her favorite color was purple. She enjoyed unicorns and had a great sense of humor. Throughout her life with her health problems, Danielle always had a positive attitude.

She is survived by husband, Kirk of Thief River Falls; children, Caroline and Tavi; parents, Allen and Christine Nieman of Warroad, MN; grandmother, Dorothy Lewis of Braham, MN; brother, Rex (Ellie) Nieman and their children, Alex, Austin and Dillon all of Greenbush, MN; and many relatives and friends.

Danielle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Caroline Nieman and Abe Lewis.
