Darcy Lynn Miller, 59, of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family at Benedictine Living in Ada, MN.
Darcy was born on November 14, 1966, in Ada, Minnesota, to DeWayne Roger Miller and LaVonne Sandra (Stene) Miller. Darcy was baptized and confirmed at Sundal Lutheran Church in Gary, Minnesota. He graduated from Fertile Public School with the Class of 1986 and later attended technical college. Throughout his life, Darcy was known for his love of family, his sense of humor, and his passion for the things he enjoyed most.
Darcy had a lifelong enthusiasm for demolition derbies, watching wrestling, Vikings football, and NASCAR racing, especially cheering for his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. He also enjoyed building model cars, collecting hotwheel cars and spending time with those he cared about. The memories he created with family and friends will be cherished for years to come.
Darcy is survived by his children, Tyler (Amanda) Miller, Ashley (Kenny) Miller, and Kyle Miller; his mother, LaVonne Miller; his siblings, Scott (Melissa) Stene, Sandra (Bruce) Williams, Holly (Paul) Eckstein, and Dustin (Sarah) Miller; and his six beloved grandchildren, Hunter, Gunner, Brooklyn, Hudson, Huxley, and Harper.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Nathan, Neasha, Savanna, Ethan, Lily, Morgan, Aiden, David, Braxton and Cali, along with many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.
Darcy was preceded in death by his father, DeWayne Miller; his granddaughter, Halle Miller; his grandparents, Hazel and Albert Stene and Lorraine and Selmer Aune; and his aunts, Darlene Stene and Hilda Bartz; and uncle, Arvid Stene.
Darcy's family and friends will remember him for his love of demolition derbies, sports, his sense of humor and the special bond he shared with his children and grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 starting at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. We invite those attending the visitation to honor Darcy’s memory by wearing Minnesota Vikings apparel or clothing representing their favorite sports team, Demolition Derby, wrestling, or NASCAR.
