Darlene Beverly Wilson, 71, of rural Newfolden, passed away January 22, 2005 at the CNC unit, Northwest Medical Center after a prolonged illness with cancer.

Darlene Beverly Dengerud was born at Madison, MN, August 13, 1933. She grew up in the Newfolden area with her parents, Ole and Hannah (Staie) Dengerud.

On October 28, 1958 she was united in marriage to Boyd Wilson. The couple lived in rural Newfolden, where they raised their six children. She worked at Arctic Cat, raised chickens, owned a White Wash Business and did housekeeping for commercial and private homes.

Darlene enjoyed flowers, birds, gardening, helping other people and was a very creative lady.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd, Newfolden; children Marvin Wayne, Dixon, CA, Margaret (Hal) McCullough, Hanover, KS, Larry Wayne, Drake, CO, Laurice (Curry Graham) Anderson, Woodland Park, CO, Scott Wilson, Newfolden, John Wilson, Newfolden; grandchildren Eric (Rachelle) Heinecke, Denver, CO, Dean (Erin) Anderson, Wheatridge, CO, Eddie (Cynthia) Crawford, Greeley, CO, Wayne Crawford, Hanover, KS, Clint Wayne, IN, Jesse Wilson, Nicholas (fiance Cassie) Wilson, Matthew Wilson all of Thief River Falls, Ashley Wilson, Denver, CO; great grandchildren Tyler Anderson, Wheatridge, CO, Anthony Sandavol, Dominic Crawford and Christian Crawford all of Greeley, CO; and Allison Frisco of Denver, CO; several half sisters and a half brother.

Darlene was preceded in death by parents Ole and Hannah Dengerud and an infant daughter Rose Marie Wayne.
