Daryl Isleman of Thief River Falls, MN, formerly of Warroad, MN, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016, with family near him.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Daryl Mark Isleman was born on July 21, 1955 in Stuebenville, OH, the son of John Charles and Vera Daisy (Baldwin) Isleman. He attended school in Toronto, OH and in Grand Rapids, MN.

Following high school Daryl enlisted with the United States Army. From 1974 until 1979 he served his country in Korea, Germany, and stateside.

For many years Daryl made his home on the Iron Range. In 2011 he moved to Warroad, MN, to be close to his family. He recently moved to Thief River Falls with his family.

Daryl enjoyed fishing, grilling, watching football and movies, training dogs, and spending time with his dog, Shadow.

Daryl is survived by his sister, Sandra Scott of Huber Heights, OH; brother, Ray (Frankie) Isleman of Thief River Falls, MN; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jim, Stan, and Dana.
