David Wayne Davidson was born November 14, 1958 in Red Lake Falls, MN and passed away peacefully on July 18, 2019, surrounded by his family at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

David was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. He worked on the oil rigs in Williston, ND and for his father's well drilling business in Thief River Falls. David enjoyed fishing, hunting and a good laugh.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Dolly Davidson of Thief River Falls; wife, Debra; children, Matthew (Megan) Davidson, Brooke (Yves) Davidson- Hoareau, Michael Davidson and Miciah Davidson; grandchildren, Dean & Lyla Davidson and Zoey Hoareau; siblings, Tony (Debbie) Brennan, Shelly Brennan, Dawn (Tracy) Kofstad and Robert Charles (Ranae) Davidson; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Dean; niece, Amanda; grandparents; and many special aunts and uncles.

May David have eternal rest.

The service to celebrate David's life will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Carl Hansen officiating. Family and friends are welcome for food and fellowship following the service and are invited to join as we lay David to rest at Holt Cemetery. Funeral procession will be leaving at 3:00 PM.
