Dawn Marie Burman, 51, died on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, rural Oklee, MN with Reverend Jonathan Dodson officiating.

Dawn Marie Carberry was born on May 17, 1959 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Gary and Linda (Montgomery) Carberry. She attended school at Washburn High School in Minneapolis, MN.

Dawn was united in marriage on June 30, 1979 to Lynn Arlen Burman at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN; Dawn and Lynn had been married for 31 years.

Dawn enjoyed being a homemaker, and helping her husband with the family auction service and their locksmith shop. She loved basket weaving, doll collecting, and beading.

Dawn is survived by her husband Lynn of Minneapolis, MN; five children: Adam Burman of Oklee, MN; Brian (Melissa) Burman, Carl Burman, Meghan (Ben) Herzog and Daniel Burman, all of Minneapolis, MN; six grandchildren: Austin, MaKayla, McKenzie, Angelina, Dominic and Christian; her parents Linda and Gary Carberry of Minneapolis, MN; one brother, Jeffrey Carberry of Minneapolis, MN; and mother-in-law, Ina Burman of Oklee, MN.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elery and Paul.
