Delores Evelyn Laliberte, 95, died peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2022, at Sandford Hospital, Thief River Falls, MN.

On June 3, 1927, Delores was born at Renville, MN, to Mels and Louise (Ladwig) Aamodt.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. She attended school in Montevideo, Greenbush, and graduated from Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

On September 7, 1953, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Muzzy; after his death, she continued to live in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. To this union, they had an adopted daughter Dawn Muzzy, and sons, Michael and David Muzzy. Reaume (Ray) came back into Delores's life after they were high school sweethearts. They were married on April 8, 2004, in Thief River Falls, MN. Delores was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN.

Over the years, Delores loved time at the cabin at Maple Lake; she loved going on pontoon rides. Her favorite holiday was the 4 ^th of July. Each year she would have her one beer and cigarette. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, and laughing. Her personality was spicy, and you always knew where you stood. Delores loved getting her fingernails bedazzled. She made light of all situations and always said, "What will be, will be."

Survivors include adopted daughter Dawn Muzzy, brother-in-law Tony (Margaret) Laliberte, Seattle, WA, several nephews and nieces, and close friend ADawn Nelson and many other good friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands Kenneth Muzzy and Reaume Laliberte, sons Michael and David, siblings Iona Aamodt, and her parents, Nels and Louise Aamodt.

Funeral Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church Friday, July 15, 2022, at 3 PM.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 3 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.
