Delores Thompson, 86, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Edgewood Vista in East Grand Forks.



Funeral service will be 1 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend John Voelker officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Johnson Funeral Service.

Delores Geroux was born June 24, 1922 at Williams, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Geroux.

On October 3, 1942, Delores was united in marriage to Robert A. Thompson. She was employed at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls.

Delores was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls and active in Girl Scouts and Brownies as her daughters were growing up. She also was active in Cub Scouts with her sons. Delores was a Gold Star Mother and member of the Thief River Falls American Legion and VFW posts.

She is survived by daughters: Judith Milne, East Grand Forks, MN, Geraldine Bell, Largo, FL and Beverly Bealby, Wichita, KS, a son: Kenneth Thompson, Thief River Falls, MN; brother, LeRoy Geroux, Reedsport, OR; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Delores was preceded in death by husband: Robert, son: Stuart, brothers: John and Lyle and sister, Myrtle.
