Deloris Johnson, 90, died Friday, March 31, 2006 at Karlstad Health Care Center, Karlstad, MN from pneumonia.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 " 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service Chapel, Thief River Falls, MN. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN.

Deloris Sjodin was born to Olaf and Anna (Holmlund) Sjodin in Nelson Park, Minnesota, on March 18, 1916. As a young adult, Deloris lived in Seattle, Washington and worked for the Troy Laundry. Her life was full with nieces, nephews and family. She married Carl Elbert Johnson on January 14, 1965, in Seattle, Washington, and they moved to Newfolden, Minnesota, in the late 1980s.

She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, and her brother and sisters. Deloris is survived by her seven nieces and five nephews and many grand nieces and nephews who will miss all the joy and love she brought to our lives. Thank you for being there for us. We love you.
