Deloris Steenerson, 88, of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Sanford Hospital, Thief River Falls, MN surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Service for Deloris will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. John Voelker officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Deloris Roese was born on May 28, 1930 in Polk County, WI the daughter of Willis and Olive (Chapman) Roese.  In 1937 the family moved to rural Thief River Falls, MN where Deloris attended Elwell School through the 7 ^th grade.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls with the class of 1948.

On November 30, 1958, Deloris was united in marriage to Allan Steenerson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.

Deloris worked at several businesses in Thief River Falls over the years including JC Penny, Montgomery Ward, Northwestern Hospital, Northern Pride and Steenerson Trucking, retiring in 1992.

Her family was her world.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing and crafts.  Baking lefse was her specialty.  Deloris was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Thief River Falls.

Survivors include her loving husband of almost 60 years, Allan of Thief River Falls; son Randy (Tina) Steenerson of Bemidji, MN; daughter Sue (Jody) Qualley of Fertile, MN; grandchildren Adam Qualley, Stephanie (Brent) Berhow, Angela Anderson; great-grandchildren Haidyn and Hannah; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cindy; and grandson Matthew Qualley.
