Mary Delphine Benoit, the former Delphine Mary Louze was born May 11, 1908 in Thief River Falls, MN, to Romeo and Sarah (Durand) Louze. She attended school in Thief River Falls.

She was married January 17, 1928, to Theodore Hemmesch. He passed away on December 28, 1946. Delphine then married Wifred Benoit on May 11, 1951. Wilfred passed away April 3, 1957. She was employed at Kiewels Bottling Plant, Thief River Falls until her retirement.

Delphine was a member of St. Bernards Church of Thief River Falls. She enjoyed quilting.

Surviving is one son, Lawrence (Freda) Hemmesch, Thief River Falls, MN; 5 grandchildren, Mitchell (Connie) Hemmesch and Milo Hemmesch, all Thief River Falls, MN, Mark Hemmesch, Savage, MN and Michael (Gwen) Hemmesch, Fredericksburg, VA; granddaughter, Mary (John) Cornille, Omaha, NE; 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Morris Hemmesch on December 26, 1969, great grandson, Matthew Hemmesch, parents, one sister, Mary Georgina and four brothers, Arthur, Henry, Neary and Alfred
