Dennis Duane Cloud, born on December 26, 1965, in St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at the age of 59, on February 4, 2025, at Valley Senior Living in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Dennis was the son of Frank Mason and Darlene Cloud. He spent much of his early life in Los Angeles, California, where he attended school and earned his GED. His family moved frequently during his childhood, and he was especially close to his mother's brothers. In 1994, Dennis relocated to Bagley, Minnesota. That same year, he experienced the profound loss of his mother.

Dennis later settled in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, where he lived with his brother Bernard and worked in housekeeping at Seven Clans Casino. Known for his kind heart and warm personality, Dennis was loved by many. He had a gift for making others laugh with his jokes and will be fondly remembered for his infectious smile and distinctive laugh. Dennis found joy in working outdoors in the yard and relaxing by watching television and movies.

He is survived by his daughters, Samara Cloud and Destani Cloud, both of Bagley, MN; siblings Johnson King Jr. of Tucson, Arizona; Celeste Cloud of Bagley, Minnesota; Tamara Cloud of Grand Forks, North Dakota; Bernard Cloud of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; and James Cloud of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and members of Mason's family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter Shawnna Havatone; parents Frank Mason and Darlene Cloud; two granddaughters, Amine and an infant; brother Steve Kilacoyne; and several beloved aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Burial will take place at a later date at Breck Memorial Episcopal Cemetery, Ponsford, MN.
