Obituary

Devin Dahle, 19 months old, passed away quietly in his sleep on Saturday, February 19, 2011 in Bagley, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Burial will follow at Babyland at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 Am on Thursday at the church.

Devin John Dahle was born on July 27, 2009 at MeritCare Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Kristina Dahle and Jesse Turner. He was baptized at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls by Father Timothy McGee.

Devin was a child who was happy, full of energy and had a great smile. He had a special bond with his mother, Kristina who raised Devin in a very loving and caring home.

In trying to keep up with his big brother, Dylan and cousin, Logan, Devin went straight from crawling to running. He didnt let anything slow him down, Devin knew no restrictions in trying to keep up with the boys.

Devin enjoyed his many toys; especially those that played music or made a lot of noise. His favorite activities were dancing, playing in the snow and taking baths.

Survivors include his loving parents, Kristina (special friend, Chris) of Thief River Falls and Jesse (fianc, Leah) Turner of Red Lake Falls, MN; brother, Dylan Dahle (age 4) of Thief River Falls; grandparents, Julie & Mike Dahle of Fosston, MN, Loren & Jane Bensen Turner of Clearbrook, MN; great-grandparents, Jan Halling of Thief River Falls and Shirley & Russell Jesperson of Plummer, MN; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Dahle and Johnathan Dahle both of Thief River Falls, MN and Sarah (special friend, Jordan) Turner of Minneapolis, MN; cousin, Logan Dahle of Thief River Falls; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Patrick Halling, Thorman Dahle, Elsa & Walter Turner, Helen & Jack Bensen.
