Obituary


Diane Ayers, 42, died Friday, July 24, 2009 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Irv Schmitke officiating. Burial will be in Park Ridge Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service with a Prayer Service Sunday at 5 PM. Visitation will also be for one hour prior to the funeral on Monday.

Diane Kaye Ayers was born March 22, 1967 in Thief River Falls, MN daughter of Dake W. and Eva M. (Armstrong) Ayers. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian Faith. Diane attended school in Thief River Falls, graduating from Our Saviors Christian Academy class of 1985.

She was an active member of the City View 4-H Club, attending the Minnesota State Fair as a member of the Share The Fun Team. A loving, warm hearted daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin or friend, Diane kept record of important dates for all her relatives and friends. An animal lover, she enjoyed her many pets, Diane liked cooking full meals or just specialty dishes for friends and family. A caretaker and friend for step father Ralph J. Weiland, Diane resided in rural Euclid at the time of her passing.

Diane is survived by brothers Richard (Michelle) Ayers of Norfolk, VA, Randall and Robert Ayers of Thief River Falls, MN, sisters Denise (David) Yonke of Thief River Falls, MN and Darla Ayers of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by her nieces Desirae and Danielle Yonke of Thief River Falls, Crystal LaBlanc of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Megan Ayers and her son J.D. of Superior, WI, nephew Zachary Ayres of Superior, WI, great niece Amora LeBlanc of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Step father Ralph J. Weiland of Euclid, MN, God Parents Duane and Janice Olson of Thief River Falls, MN, 2 aunts, Iris Furuseth of Thief River Falls, MN and Jan Armstrong of Rockville, MD and uncle Don (Vera) Armstrong of Grand Haven, Michigan and step brothers and step sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, step father Clarence H. Anderson, Maternal and Paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
