Diane R. Erickson, Thief River Falls, MN, age 71, died Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation with food and fellowship will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening with the funeral at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Larry Myhrer officiating.

Diane Raca Erickson was born January 18, 1946 at Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Willard Walter Warren and Bernice Evelyn Ida (Johnson) Erickson.  She grew up and attended Lincoln High School.

Diane was employed at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN, in the rehabilitation unit as a nurse's aide and also worked as a cook at Valley Home in Thief River Falls.  She enjoyed flower gardening, shopping, garage sales, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Diane was a kind-hearted, classy, passionate, caring, nurturing, loving woman who was always there for her family and friends.  Her nails were polished, earrings in, dressed well and Diane always looked good.  She worked hard throughout her life and had a tremendous work ethic.

Survived by son, Randy Ray (Melissa) Bunker of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, Taylor Rae Bunker, Brody Bunker, Kayla Walseth, Trinity Walseth, Jacob Wayne Peterson; great-granddaughter, Harper Walseth; sister, Debra May Hagman of Fargo, ND; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Wayne Peterson; parents; brother, Dennis Willard Erickson and infant brother, David Erickson; grandparents, Theodore and Gertrude Erickson and Bernard and Ida Johnson.
