Dolores Carlson, 90, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 25, 2006 " 11:00 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Tim Bushy, presiding.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.

Dolores Willett was born on August 11, 1915 at Fairfax, MN the daughter of Benjamin and Barbara (Wagner) Willett. The family moved from Fairfax, MN to Plummer, MN in 1920, where she was raised and attended school graduating from Pershing High School in Plummer in 1933.

Dolores was united in marriage to Arthur Carlson at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Plummer, MN. The couple lived in Plummer. She worked for Sears in Crookston, MN for a time then at Catholic Social Service in Red Lake Falls. Dolores made her home at Sunview Apartments in Red Lake Falls for many years, and for the past 2 ½ year she has been residing at Hillcrest Nursing Home.

She was a devoted member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, The Catholic Daughters and the American, Legion Auxiliary. Dolores loved to travel, but most of all she loved spending time with her great granddaughter Ashley Carlson.

Dolores is survived by her grandchildren Dr. Mary C. Carlson, Rochester, NY, Bill Carlson, South Dakota, Linda Carlson, Red Lake Falls, John Carlson, Southern Minnesota, Scott Carlson, Detroit Lakes, MN; 13 Great Grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother Joseph Willett, Oklee, MN; sister Rita LeMere, Augusta, WI; daughters in law Carol Larson, Red Lake Falls, Ardith Carlson, Detroit Lakes, MN; sister-in-law, Teckla Willett of Thief River Falls, MN; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in November of 1982, son Floyd A. Carlson April 17, 2002, grandson Ronald Carlson on July 18, 1998, great grandson Nathan Carlson on May 1, 1982, mother Barbara Willett August 6, 1957, father Benjamin Willett July 15, 1967, sisters Monica Fallon, Marietta Johanneck, Constace Driscoll, Marcella Toulouse, brother Andrew Willett and niece Barbara Johanneck.
