Dolores Huot was born on October 14, 1935 at St. Vincent Hospital in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Ernie and Emma (Benoit) Huot. She was baptized at St. Joseph Church in Red Lake Falls, MN, and confirmed into the Catholic faith at St. Dorothy Catholic Church in Dorothy, MN and attended the Little Red School House (The Huot School) in Huot, MN. She graduated from Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, MN in 1954.
On September 1, 1956, Dolores was united in marriage to Verner Bud Glass at St. Dorothy Catholic Church in Dorothy, MN.
Through the years, Dolores worked at Brule Farms, REA, the Auditors office at Red Lake County, Cenex, Red Lake Falls Library, sold Tupperware for many years and was currently working at Small World Early Learning Center.
Dolores was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN and was active in the Guild. She loved to read, spend time on the computer, cross-stitching, knitting, watching sports, and attending children and grandchildrens events.
Survivors include children: Todd (Jan) Glass of Red Lake Falls, MN, Tamara (Lionel) Sandness of Red Lake Falls, MN and Troy (Michelle) Glass of Bemidji, MN; eight grandchildren: Cody, Robbie and Britta Glass, Jessica and Joshua Sandness and Serena, Cole and Corey Glass; brother, Tom Huot of Red Lake Falls, MN; sisters, Lillian (John) Grenier, Mae Gjerstad, Pat Ruth and Jean Beyer all of Red Lake Falls, MN; Sharon Benoit of Duluth, MN whom Dolores always considered a sister; brother-in-law, Ken Hagl of Red Lake Falls, MN; sisters-in-law, Evon (John) Williams of Colorado Springs, CO, Sharon Bregier of Texas and Faye (Martin) Sund of Thief River Falls, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded by her husband, Verner Bud on November 19, 2003; parents; brothers, Ernest and Jack; sister, Rita Hagl; brothers-in-law, Wallace Gjerstad and Chester Beyer; sisters-in-law, Sue Huot and Hazel Huot.
