Dolores Manderud, 78, died on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at her home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Bob Dahlen, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dolores Rose Campbell was born on April 21, 1930 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada, to Sandy and Blanche Campbell.

Dolores grew up all over the USA, including New York and in the Goodridge area.

She was united in marriage to Rudolph Manderud. They lived in Goodridge and Thief River Falls, MN. She has lived in Thief River Falls for the past 40 years. She worked on the assembly line at Arctic Cat until retiring at the age of 65.

Dolores liked to do flower gardening. She enjoyed putting puzzles together. She also made some quilts and knitted. Dolores has been receiving dialysis three times a week in Fargo for the past 5 years, and has spent many hours on the road back and forth with her son Walter.

Dolores is survived by two sons: Roy Manderud, Thief River Falls, MN, Walter Manderud, Crookston, MN, 6 grandchildren, James Manderud, Centerville, TX, Kathy Manecke, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Donnie Briggs, Crookston, MN, TJ Remerez, Minot, ND, Jeffrey Manderud, Houston, TX, Chad Manderud, Karlstad, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and her husband in 1974, 1 son Alan Manderud, 1 daughter Vivian Neufeld, 1 grandson Bobby.
