Donald Harbott, 83, of Thief River Falls passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Thomas Puffe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Immanuel Cemetery, Wylie Township, Red Lake County, MN.

Donald Albert Harbott was born May 28, 1938, in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Albert and Alvina (Geske) Harbott. He was confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wylie, MN. Donald attended school in Red Lake Falls, MN graduating from Lafayette High School.

Don worked for Hartz and continued trucking across America for 38 years. He was united in marriage to Carol Berberick in 1973 and to this union his daughter Michelle was born.

Don loved hunting, fishing, and watching sports (especially baseball). He had several trophy bucks and earned awards shooting trap. He was a member of the National Riffle Association, Thief River Trap Club, and the Eagle's Club of Thief River Falls, MN.

In 2005 Don was united in marriage to Donna Senum at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN and the couple continued to reside in Thief River Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Donna of Thief River Falls; Donna's children, Kevin (Lynn) Senum of Roseau, MN and Darcie Johnson of Thief River Falls; Donna's grandchildren, Dustin (Barbara) Senum, Travis Johnson, Talen Senum, Kelsey Senum, Lexie Senum; Donna's great-grandchildren, Max and Ayden; grandsons: Nicholas Jack & Lucas Jacob Dalbol; nieces and nephews; Ami (John) Schlichtmann of Forest Lake, MN, Tom (Andrea) Eckstein of Jamestown, ND, Jeff (Jeanette) Eckstein of Thief River Falls, MN, Tammy (Mike) Veil of Minneapolis, MN, Don (MaryLou) Huot of St.Cloud, MN, Mike Huot of Grand Forks, ND, Rodney Huot of Grand Forks, ND; and many other relatives and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his wife Carol Berberich; his daughter, Michelle; his parents; sisters, Marlene Harbott, Barbara Huot, and Janice Eckstein.
