Donald (Don) Kringstad, 70, of West Fargo, ND passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Veterans Hospital in Fargo, ND with his loving family by his side.

Donald Robert Kringstad was born on November 18, 1948 in Devils Lake, ND and the son of Clarence and Florence (Alm) Kringstad. He attended Devils Lake Central High School, where he graduated with the class of 1967.

In 1967, Don entered into the service with the United States Marine Corps in Minneapolis, MN.  He was stationed in San Diego, CA and was Honorably Discharged.

On February 14, 1971, Don was united in marriage to Marsha Sailors at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Devils Lake, ND. To this union, two children were born, Dane and Shawn.

Don worked various jobs throughout the years including Production Supervisors at Steiger, Case, Frigidaire and Vision Ease.   Don loved traveling, fishing, going to the shooting range with his best friend, Lee and visiting with his family.  He also drove charter bus at Trobec's and drove bus for the YMCA.  He especially enjoyed his time driving bus.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Marsha of West Fargo, ND; sons, Dane (Dana) Kringstad of Union, WA and Shawn (Julene) Kringstad of Lakeville, MN; grandchildren, Dylan, Gabbi and Charles Kringstad; and three great-grandaughters. .

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Ackerman; brother, Allen Kringstad; grandparents; aunts and uncles.

Don's Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Newfolden, MN with Rev. Cathie Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Folden Cemetery, rural Newfolden, Minnesota.
