Donald Longevan, 79, of Thief River Falls, MN died peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN.

No services will be held. His body will be donated to the UND Medical School.

Donald Le Roy Longevan was born November 3, 1936 at Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Melvin and Clara (Knutson) Longevan.  He is a Lincoln High School graduate in Thief River Falls..

In 1954, Donald entered the United States Air Force and served his country until his Honorable Discharge in 1958.

He never married.

Donald worked as a mechanic.  He owned and operated his own business called Longevan Repair.

He is survived by a niece, Kim (Chris) Lindgren, Denver, CO; great-nephew, Beckum; brother-in-law, Wayne Hove of Arizona; and special friend, Sara Finley of Thief River Falls, MN; and many cousins and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Yvonne Hove.
