Donn Lykken, 36 of Blackduck, MN formerly of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Friday, September 25, 1998 at the Northern Pine Nursing Home in Black Duck, MN. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 1998 at 11;00 AM in Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls with Reverend Gary Graff Officiating. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be held on Monday one hour prior to services at the church only.

Donn Gregory Lykken was born October 13, 1961 in Crookston, MN son of Donald G. and Marion (Dove) Lykken. He was baptized October 13, 1961 and confirmed September 13, 1985 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. He lived at home in Red Lake Falls until the age of three, then moved to Roseaus childrens home, as a young man he lived in Fergus Falls childrens home and as an adult resided at Riverview nursing center in Crookston, MN, finally moving to Blackduck in 1994 residing there with wonderful care and love until his passing.

Donn is survived by his parents Donald and Florence Lykken of Thief River Falls; brothers Thomas G. Lykken (Yvonne) of Fargo, ND; Daniel G. Lykken (Susi) of Roseau, MN: sisters Mary Beth Vaudrin (Francis) of Shevlin, MN Ann M. Wold (Larry) St. Bonnifacious, MN; Penelope Myers of Minneapolis, MN; Pamela Joppru (Dean) of Thief River Falls, MN and Patricia Myers of Thief River Falls, MN: many aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his mother Marion Dove Lykken; infant brother David John Lykken: grandparents Lawrence and Hazel Lykken and Aane and Esther Dove and Aunt Beth Lykken Johnson.
