Donna Graham, 69, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at her home in Newfolden, MN.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Newfolden, MN with Reverend John Golv officiating. Burial will be in Spruce Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with a prayer service at 7 P.M. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Donna Marie Moe was born on May 3, 1939 in Newfolden, MN to Marvin and Doris (Thompson) Moe. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. The family moved to Waukegan, IL where Donna attended and graduated from high school. On November 15, 1958 Donna was united in marriage to Dale Keith Graham at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukegan. In 1971 the couple moved to the family farm near Newfolden, MN where they continued to raise their family. From 1977 until its closure Donna enjoyed working as the secretary for the Strandquist School. The couple moved back to Waukegan, IL for a short time, and then to Becker, MN. They then returned to Newfolden to retire.
Donna was a voracious reader of books and newspapers. She enjoyed watching CNN and keeping up with politics. Donna liked spending time on her computer which allowed her to stay connected with family and friends. She loved coupons and was always on the look out for a bargain. She was an active member and supporter of Newfoldens Bethlehem Lutheran Church and its youth. Donna had a strong faith and love for God and her husband Keith. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2008. Donnas greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband Dale Keith Graham; children, Debbie (Jeff) Davidson of Newfolden, MN, Denise DeDe Ness of Fargo, ND, Diane (Mike) Tiani of Newfolden, MN, Greg Graham of Newfolden, MN; grandchildren, Tera, Tad, and Tori Davidson, Kyle (Lindsey) Ness, Kayla (Paul) Cichos, Tyler, Morgan, and Tatum Tiani, and Payton Graham; great-grandchildren Ava Ness and Lauren Cichos; sister Marilyn Sissy (John) Salzeider of Iron River, MI and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and infant son David.
