A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Father Adam Hamness Officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near Red Lake Falls, MN.

Donna Thibert died March 14, 2016 in Gold Canyon, AZ.

Donna was born September 12, 1929 to Ole and Gunda (Baashus) Dovre in Thief River Falls, MN.

Donna graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls in 1947. She fondly spoke of her years singing at the pep fest's at Lincoln High.

Donna married Vern Thibert, her husband of 55 years on March 31, 1951 at St. Joseph Church in Red Lake Falls.

Donna and Vern moved from Minnesota to Washington state in 1962 and returned to Red Lake Falls in 1969 to help manage the family business. In 1975 they moved back to Washington state where they remained until Vern's retirement. In 1999 Donna and Vern moved to Mesa, AZ to spend their retirement in the sun with family and friends from Minnesota.

Donna loved to spend her free time oil painting and singing. She was a member of the Legion of Mary as well as a leader with the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) in Washington state.

Donna is survived by her children, Neil (Mann-Ling) Thibert of Snoqualmie, WA, Debbie (Vance) Buse of Freeland, WA, Lee (Janet) Thibert of Anchorage, AK and Tracy (Chris) Trombatore of Apache Junction, AZ; grandchildren Jennifer Whittaker, Nicole Maloney, Paulette Buse, Carl Buse, Kelsey Rogers, Janelle Roberts, Patricia Mackie, Matthew Trombatore, Luke Trombatore and 16 great-grandchildren.
