Doris Dahle, 77, died on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at MeritCare, Northwest Campus, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Robert Dahlen officiating. Burial will be in Ekelund Lutheran Cemetery, rural Goodridge, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Johnson Funeral Service on Wednesday.

Doris Arlene Dahle was born November 12, 1932 at Goodridge, MN, the daughter of Aslak and Mildred Lucille (Brown) Dahle.

In 1980, Doris came to stay with her sister, Myra Nesland at Oklee, MN. In 2007 she moved to Clearwood Homes in Red Lake Falls, MN.

She loved animals, especially cats; and also loved music. Doris was a life long member of Ekelund Lutheran Church where she will be buried.

She is survived by sister, Myra Nesland, Oklee, MN; brothers, Torval (Arlene) Dahle, Hibbing, MN, Floyd Dahle of Milwaukee, WI.

Doris was preceded in death by parents, sister, Annette Dahle and twins who died at birth and; sister-in-law, Shirley Nelson.
