Doris Dory M. Roisland was born August 15, 1926 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Dreng and Mabel (Omdahl) Roisland. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Oklee, MN.

She graduated from Lincoln High School. She was employed by the 3M Company in Hastings, MN. After retiring, Dory returned to Thief River Falls. She enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, bowling and golf. She also enjoyed her garden and her dog, Dolly Ho.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary in Thief River Falls and a member of the Thief River Falls Womens Bowling Association Hall of Fame.

Dory is survived by two sisters, Bess Lang and Vi Wettestad, one brother, Marvin (Delores) Roisland and a sister-in-law, Irene Roisland, all Thief River Falls, MN and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, a sister, Mert Wilson, three brothers, Oscar Roisland, Tom Roisland Sr., Frank Roisland, sister-in-law, Opal Roisland, three brothers-in-law, John Lang, John Wettestead and Stan Wilson; a sister-in-law, Opal Roisland and two nephews, Greg Roisland and Steve Roisland and special friend, Ceil Grabow.
