Dorothy Boyer, 88, died Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Sanford Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN A Private Family visitation was held on Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN. Dorothy Jeanne Eppard was born April 18, 1924 in Cloquet, MN, the daughter of Raymond and Gertrude (Draws) Eppard. She was raised in the Cloquet area and attended school there as well. On December 6, 1942, Dorothy was united in marriage to Jack Boyer in Minneapolis, MN. The couple moved to Thief River Falls in 1956. She raised her family here and has lived here ever since. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, knitting, gardening, playing bridge, camping and swimming. She also loved animals, nature and spending time with her family. Survived by children: Connie (Bob) Dicken, Deb Teiken and Jessie Boyer all of Thief River Falls and Charlie (Wendy) Boyer, Bemidji, MN; 6 grandchildren: Jeremy, Lisa (Kris), Greg (Teresa), Carson (Allie), Parker, and McKenzie; 5 great grandchildren: Alexis, Skylar, Brayden, Jackson and Eilla.
