Obituary
Dorothy "Mickey" Lindquist, 91, formerly Thief River Falls, MN, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at Walnut Creek, CA.
Memorial service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Terri Cuppett officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Dorothy Peterson was born on September 5, 1920 in Gully, MN, the daughter of Walter and Hilda Peterson. She was affectionately known to many as "Mickey".
Mickey attended school and graduated from Middle River High School, Middle River, MN. Following High School she attended and graduated from Moorhead State College in Moorhead, MN. Mickey taught school in Lancaster, MN and Richfield, MN.
Mickey was united in marriage to Don Lindquist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. To this union two sons were born, Mike and Pat.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike Lindquist and Pat (Cynthia) Lindquist; two grandsons, all from California; sister, Annabelle Cuppett of Thief River Falls, MN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mickey was preceded by her husband, Don; her parents; and one son in infancy.
