Douglas McIntosh, 74 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at his residence.

Memorial service to celebrate Doug's life will be held at 2:30 PM on ­­Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Thief River Care Center Chapel in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding.

Douglas J. McIntosh was born in Grafton, ND on June 26, 1944 the son of Dougal and Helen (Miller) McIntosh.

Doug was united in marriage to Janice Allard in April of 1961 and to this union six children were born, Jodi, D.J., Kelly, Kenny, Chris and John.

Doug was united in marriage to Phyllis Kowalski on June 26, 1984 and the couple lived for a time in Grand Forks, ND before settling in Thief River Falls where they have continued to reside.

He worked at Grand Forks Grocery for 44 years.  Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dog Lulu.  He was a member of the Eagle's Club in East Grand Forks.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis of Thief River Falls; children, Jodi (Bryan) Watters, D.J. (Nancy), Kelly, Chris (Kim) and John "Chub" McIntosh; mother, Helen McIntosh; step-children, Jodie (Glenn) Buell and John "Jack" (Kristie) Riski; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his dad; step-dad; and son, Kenny.
