Obituary

Dulice St. Marie Davis, 102, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Hillcrest Senior Living in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck Presiding and Father Tim Bushy concelebrating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 12, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer service on Friday evening. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Dulice St. Marie Davis was born on April 5, 1907 in Red Lake Falls, MN, the daughter of Philippe and Anna (Vaudrin) Demerais. She attended county school in Badger Creek.

Dulice was united in marriage to Joseph F. St. Marie on October 27, 1925 in Red Lake Falls. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Red Lake Falls on a farm until 1959. They moved to the city of Red Lake Falls. Dulice worked part time at the St. Johns Hospital in the kitchen. She also sewed drapes at Alma Homark Mobile Home factory. Joe passed away in 1974.

On May 26, 1976 she married Clarence Clem Davis in Crookston, MN. They lived in Red Lake Falls until his death in 2003. She then moved to the Hillcrest Senior Living.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, gardening, quilting, crocheting, and an occasional trip to the casino. She was a member of the Friendly Circle Homemakers Club, St. Josephs Ladies Guild, Catholic Daughter and Ladies Catholic Foresters, Member of the Red Hat Society.

Dulice is survived by her children, Delbert (Barbara) St. Marie of Milwaukee, WI, Jo Ann (Willard) Brunelle of Crookston, MN, Phyllis (Henry) Schmitz of Red Lake Falls, MN, Marlys (Clarence) Vaudrin of Crookston, MN, Carol (Kendall) Pederson of Red Lake Falls, MN, Julie (Jerry) King of White Bear Lake, MN, and daughter in law Arlene St. Marie of Red Lake Falls, MN.

Step children: Donald (Elizabeth Betty ) Davis, Janice (Gary) Bouffleur, and Charles (Kathy) Davis, 27 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren, 6 step great great grandchildren.

Dulice is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Joseph F. ST. Marie, Clarence Clem Davis, sons Raymond St. Marie and Robert St. Marie, daughter in law Odina Mae St. Marie, five brothers: George, Walter, Willard, Omer, Joe, and four sisters Agnes, Leah, Edna, and Wilmae.
