Eddy Ed Lemky, 56, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at his home in Grand Forks, ND.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Eddy Dean Lemky was born May 16, 1951 the son of Curtis and Mabel (Mathson) Lemke at St. Lukes Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN.

He attended Knox Elementary, Franklin Middle School and Lincoln High Schools in Thief River Falls, MN and graduated in 1969.

He worked many jobs in Thief River Falls including Evans Steel and Gopher Ready Mix. About 25 years ago, Eddy moved to Grand Forks and continued working as a professional truck driver through much of his adult life.

Eddy enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a motorcycle enthusiast and he also enjoyed listening to music and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Mabel Lemky; sister, Charlotte Lemky; brother, Max Lemky; nephew, Sam Lemky; uncle, Clayton (Inez) Mathson all of Thief River Falls, MN; aunt, Fern (Peters) Bock of Viking, MN; Eddy is also survived by many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis; uncles, Stanley Lemky and Charles Lemky.
