Edna Bernice Eggen was born June 3, 1925, in Higdem Township, Polk County, MN, the daughter of Brungulf A. and Emelie (Olson) Eggen. She was baptized, July 5, 1925 and confirmed at Kongsvinger Lutheran Church, Oslo, MN. She attended Oslo High School.

On November 28, 1959, Edna was united in marriage to LeRoy Gustafson at Kongsvinger Lutheran Church, Oslo, MN. She was employed as a part time postal clerk at the Viking Post Office and also worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren for a couple of winters.

Edna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and served as an officer in WELCA and an officer on the LCW of the Thief River Falls Conference. She also held membership in the American Legion Auxiliary at Oslo.

Survived by husband, LeRoy, Viking, MN; sister in law, Doris Eggen, East Grand Forks, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Ragna Schmidt, Annie Dahl and Martha Gulbranson; brothers, Arthur, Rudolph, Bennie and Harold Eggen.
