Edward Altepeter, 49, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls, MN.

Edward Altepeter was born August 26, 1956 at Crookston, MN, the son of Henry S. and Dorothy (DuBuque) Altepeter. He was baptized at St. Dorothys Church, Dorothy, MN and confirmed in Fergus Falls, MN. At the age of 5 he entered a childrens home in Roseau, MN, then went to Brainerd, MN for 2 years before moving to the State Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN. In 1999, he moved to his current residence at Synstelien Community Service Group Home, Fergus Falls.

Edward enjoyed music.

Edward is survived by mother, Dorothy, East Grand Forks, MN; a sister, Benita (Joe) Adolph, Watkins, MN; 2 brothers, Richard (Carol) Altepeter, Brainerd, MN and Michael (Sheryl) Altepeter, Fertile, MN; sister in law Deb Altepeter, Thief River Falls, MN; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by father, Henry, infant sister, Margaret Rose and brother, Tim Altepeter.
