Obituary

Elaine Borsheim, 60, died Monday, December 6, 2004 at Greensview Care Center, Bagley, MN due to complications from primary amylodosis.

Elaine Marie Stanghelle was born November 6, 1944 at Warren, MN, the daughter of Ragner and Ruby (Broten) Stanghelle. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Warren. She grew up and attended Warren High School, where she was honor student and a Girl Stater, graduating in 1962. Elaine also achieved the honor of being Betty Crocker Homemaker of the Year. She attended Northland Community College, Thief River Falls, MN and School of Radiology, becoming an X-Ray Technician.

On November 26, 1966, Elaine was united in marriage to Milan Borsheim at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Warren. She was employed as an X-Ray Technician at Falls Clinic, Thief River Falls and Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, for 10 years as receptionist. She also worked as X-Ray Technician at Clearwater County Memorial Hospital, Bagley, MN.

Elaine held membership in American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower gardening, playing piano and organ and spending time at the lake and cabin, but most especially she loved spending time with her grandchildren, Gavin and Mya. Elaine also enjoyed taking care of her friends and family and always spread her joy to everyone she met.

Survived by husband, Milan, Bagley, MN; children, Mark (Sherry) Borsheim, Thief River Falls, MN and Wayne Borsheim, Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Gavin and Mya Borsheim; sisters, Anita (Elmer) Carlson, Crystal, MN and Mary (Michael) Coleman, Grand Forks, ND; brother, Ric (Gail) Stanghelle, Lindstrom, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Ragner and Ruby and nephew, Jared Carlson
