Elaine Loberg, 90 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN. Burial will be at 2:30 PM on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.

She was born in Thief River Falls in 1928 to Severin and Garda Nelson.  She married Herman Loberg and they made their home in TRF. She worked in sales for many years until opening a jewelry store in TRF and purchasing a clothing store there also.   She is survived by a daughter Sandy, grandchildren Heather (Nathan), Shannon (Ben), and Brandon (Jessie); five great grand children, Dalton, Alex, Taylor, Katie and Gage.   She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, a brother Jerry and two sisters Olive and Marian and a daughter Peggy.   She enjoyed spending time with family, lawn work and her flower beds and the occasional trip to the casino.
