Elma Ollie, 95, passed on from this life to be with her Lord on Saturday April 15, 2006, at Oakland Park Nursing Home, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 24, 2006 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Gary Gilthvedt officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with a 5:00 PM prayer service on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Elma Maria Ollie was born on September 25, 1910 at Ironwood, Michigan daughter of Jacob and Hilda (Sievila) Ollie. The family moved to Plummer, MN where they made their home. Elma worked for a number of years in Chicago, IL and later moved to California working as a bookkeeper in offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Later she moved back to Minnesota and was employed at Artic Cat.

She was active at her church and helped assemble many quilts for the needy. She greatly touched the lives of those who knew her.

She is survived by four sisters Mae Ollie of Los Angeles, Irene May of Santa Barbara, CA, Wynn Blue of Whittier, CA and Helen (Vern) Noyes of Sun City West, AZ. Sister in law Hazel of Thief River Falls, MN and a number of nieces and nephews.

Elma is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Ann and her brother George.
