Eugene Lull, 63, died Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center, Erskine, MN.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 12, 2002 at Johnson Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be one hour before services at the Funeral Home.

Eugene Harles Lull was born November 28, 1938, in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Archie and Illa (Lappegaard) Lull. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. He grew up and attended Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls, graduating in 1956. Following graduation, Eugene served in the US Navy for 14 years. Following his discharge, he worked road construction in Minnesota, North Dakota and Alaska.

In 1957, Eugene was united in marriage to Jean Hill in Red Lake Falls, MN and in 1965 he married Veronica Lull.

Eugene moved back to Thief River Falls, MN and then to the Gully, MN area in 1986. He began to help farmers in the area from 1986-2001. In September 2001, Eugene entered the Pioneer Memorial Care Center at Erskine, MN.

Eugene enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include children, Kevin (Margaret) Lull, St. Hilaire, MN, Robin (Steven) Gumusk, Story City, IA, Alan (Renee) Lull, West Bend, WI, Greg Lull, Kari Lull, and Shawn Lull; 4 grandchildren, Jamie, Hanna, Rosie and David Lull; sisters, Sharon (Roy) Jablinske, Thief River Falls, MN and Gayle Langevin, Tucson, AZ.

Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law, Richard Langevin.
