Eunice Haupt, 97, died October 15, 2011 at Hillcrest Senior Living Center, Red Lake Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at St. Joseph's Church, Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at St. Joseph's Church, Red Lake Falls, with a 7 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to the service at the church, Wednesday.
Eunice Lambert was born December 10, 1913, at home in Red Lake Falls, MN, the daughter of Alphonse and Cesarie (Boucher) Lambert. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph's, Red Lake Falls. Eunice graduated from high school in Red Lake Falls and attended Normal School teacher training in Bemidji, MN.
Eunice taught for 7 years in country schools of Red Lake County.
On October 14, 1940, Eunice was united in marriage to Edward G. Haupt at Red Lake Falls. Together they raised 6 children. They made their home and farmed at the Haupt homestead in Red Lake County for almost 53 years. Ed passed away on August 5, 1993.
Eunice moved to Sunset Court in Red Lake Falls, where she resided until 2011. Her door was always open, and welcomed all who came to visit. She entered Hillcrest Living Center on April 15, 2011, where she resided until her death.
Eunice was an excellent baker, making pies and sweets for her family, the threshers, and many cakes with homemade frosting for weekly Mass at Sunset Court. She crocheted many afghans, doilies, dolls and other keepsakes for family and friends. Eunice enjoyed fishing both winter and summer, playing cards and most of all visiting with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren .
Survived by children: James (Judy) Haupt, Amery, WI, Duane (Connie) Haupt, Somerset, WI, Alois (Raquel) Haupt, St. Maarten and Ronald (Arlette) Haupt, Carlton, MN; daughters-in-law: Bernie (Frank) Ineichen, Gleason, WI and Lolly Schmitz, Red Lake Falls, MN; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sisters: Mae Hesse, Rochester, MN, and Jane Narveson, Grafton, ND; sisters-in-law: Agnes Carriere, LaCresenta, CA and Cecile (Art) Linden, La Cresenta, CA; brother-in-law: John (Gladys) Haupt.
