Eunice Schulz, 83,  of Grygla, MN passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at  Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND with her loving family by her side.

The service to celebrate Eunice's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church in Grygla, MN with Vicar Marilyn Grafstrom officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery, rural Grygla, MN.

Eunice Mae Blokzyl was born March 14, 1939 in Crookston, MN daughter of Cornelius and Helen (Butenhoff) Blokzyl. She was baptized and confirmed at the Christian Reformed Church and attended school and graduated from Central High School in Crookston. Eunice worked at Irishman Shanty, Wayne Hotel Café and Sweet Shop in Crookston.

On September 28, 1957 Eunice was united in marriage to Harold Schulz and the couple moved to Euclid, MN where they farmed. To this union four children were born, Dan, Doug, Tim and Tami. Eunice always felt very blessed to be home to raise her family.

In 1977, they moved to a farm north of Grygla along the Moose River where they farmed and raised cattle. Eunice went to work at Marvin Windows for 19 years until Harold's death in 2001.

Eunice was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, WELCA, and Red Hats. She had a strong faith, loved reading her Bible and listening to gospel music.

She loved being with her family and made quilts for all of  her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Eunice enjoyed her garden, flowers, baking, manicuring her yard, playing cards, Aggravation with friends, and picking blueberries.

Survivors include her loving children, Dan Schulz; Doug (Jodi) Schulz, Tim (Kim) Schulz and Tami (Daron) Morey; daughter-in-law, Jean Schulz; grandchildren, Nicole (Scott) Hilgeman, Tyler (Kinzie) Schulz, Miranda Schulz, Ethan Schulz, Leah (fiancé Jamison St. Germain) Schulz, Kallie (Luke Holland) Schulz, Whitney (Tyler) Gangl, Ashley Schulz, Bailey (Garth) Berg, Dylan (Shantel) Morey; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Logan, Charlotte, Braxton, Theo, Ayla, Asher, Brielle; brother, Bob (Rona) Blokzyl; brothers & sister-in-law, Sid Anderson, Arlene (Dale) Huot, and Cliff (Lindy) Schulz; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Eunice is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Charlie; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and special friend Grant Satre.
