Faye Bechard, 63, died on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family under the care of hospice.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls with Ron Skallet officiating.

Faye Ellen Anderson was born on February 1, 1947 to Ernest and Frances (LeFever) Anderson in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in Minnetonka, MN and attended school in Excelsior. She met her future husband James Bechard. They were married on April 28, 1967 in Bessemier, MI. They made their home in Minneapolis, MN for a short time. In 1972 they moved to Gully, MN, then lived in Staples, MN for five years, then New York Mills for 3 years, and then Plummer, MN for a time. They settled in Goodridge in 1989.

Faye cooked at Oakland Park Nursing Home and the Evergreen Restaurant for quite sometime. She also cooked at the jail in Pennington County for some time. Faye loved quilting. She made quilts for all of the children and grandchildren. She also liked crafts and needlework. One of Fayes favorite past times was to go camping with her family. She loved spending family time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband James, Goodridge, MN, 5 children: Michelle Jones, Jamestown, ND, Lisa (Clint) Holsapple, Fort Ripley, MN, Kelly Bechard, Goodridge, MN, James Bechard Jr, Thief River Falls, MN, Robert (Kim) Bechard, Jamestown, ND, 9 grandchildren: Matthew, Jennifer, Tayler, Sacha, Logan, and Samantha Holsapple, Hunter Boese, Cody Spenst, and Tiffany Bechard, 3 brothers: Jerry Anderson, Two Harbors, MN, Bud (Marietta) Anderson, Blaine, MN, Earl Anderson, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Esther Susie Miller.
