Florence Baldwin, 86, of Tacoma Washington formerly of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Friday, March 31, 2000 at Francisca, Health System in Tacoma, WA. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2000 at 2:00 PM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Church cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday only.

Florence Perreault was born October 17, 1913 in Terrebonne, MN daughter of the late Ildage and Doria (LaFramboise) Perreault. At the age of five years old she moved with her family to Red Lake Falls, MN. Florence attended St. Joseph School through her sophomore year, then attended Lafayette High School, graduating in 1931. In 1932 she graduated from the schools Teachers Training Department. She taught one year in Oklee, one year in Ada and the balance of 20 years of teaching in rural schools in Red Lake County. From 1952 until 1974 she lived in Anchorage, Alaska with her husband Nate. They attended the Cathedral and sang in the choir. She was employed by Recuse Airlines for two years and for 20 years by B & C Electric in Anchorage. She returned to Red Lake Falls after Nates death. Florence has resided in Tacoma, Washington since 1997 where she moved to be closer to her family. She was a choir member at St. Joseph Church and also taught CCD for three years. Florence was very active in volunteer work, the Childrens Center, and was secretary of the Keen Age Council.

Florence is survived by her sisters Loretta Haskell of Oroville, CA and Agnes Turner of San Pablo, CA: step-children Mary Jane Bond of Tacoma, WA, Terry Baldwin of Olympia, WA; Gay Anne Jones of Castle Rock, WA and Deborah Reed of Medford, OR. Also 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
