FLORENCE M. BENDICKSON, 83, OF Crookston, MN formerly of Trail, MN died on Thursday, November 26, 1998 at Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home in Crookston, MN. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home Inc. of Oklee, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 1998 at Sand Valley Lutheran Church at 10:00 Am in Trail, MN with Reverend David Jay Webber officiating. Burial will be held in the Mt. Olive Cemetery rural trail in the spring.

Visitation will be held on Monday, from 5 " 8 PM at the Petterson Funeral home in Oklee, MN with a 7:00 prayer service and for one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Florence Bendickson was born December 14, 1914 at Alexander, ND daughter of Harley and Marie (Gwinn) Offenbacker. As a young girl she moved with her family to Minneapolis, MN where she lived for a short time then moved to Plummer, MN where she graduated from high school. On December 22, 1934 she was united in marriage to Conrad Bendickson in Oklee, MN. The couple made their home in Equality Township where they farmed. Florence worked as a nurses aid at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls for many years. Conrad passed away on September 24, 1988. Florence entered the Villa St. Vincent Nursing home in Crookston in June of 1994 where she has since resided.
Florence is survived by her children, two sons Clyde Bendickson of Lavina, MT and James Bendickson of rural Trail, MN; three daughters Marcia Skorczewski (Dennis) of Minneapolis, MN Ida Mae Breitzman of Faribault, MN and Barbara Forsberg of Thief River Falls, MN: four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Karl Offenbacker.
