Frances Anderson, 65, died on Monday, March 17, 2003 at her home in Fertile, MN.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2003 at the Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Wesley Langaas officiating. Burial will be in Spruce Valley Cemetery, Spruce Valley Township, Marshall County, Minnesota.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. on Friday morning.

Frances Mae Anderson was born on May 27, 1937 in Strandquist, MN, the daughter of James and Nickoline (Rust) Donaldson. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith and attended school in Strandquist, MN.

Frances was united in marriage to Gordon Lefrooth on January 5, 1955 in Newfolden, MN. The couple made their home in Strandquist. Later she married Gordon Corky Anderson on December 26, 1973 at Erskine, MN. Corky and Frances made their home in Thief River Falls. Frances worked in the sewing department at Arctic, Land O Lakes and several area restaurants.

Corky and Frances loved to hunt and fish. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Frances is survived by two sons: Terry (Wendy) Lefrooth, Inver Grove Heights, MN and Jerry (Emma) Lefrooth, Standquist, MN; grandchildren: Sara and Kelli Lefrooth of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Erica (Chad) Nelson of Viking, MN, Heather Lefrooth of Thief River Falls, MN and Nicholas Lefrooth of Strandquist, MN; five great-grandchildren: Summer and Autumn Walseth, August Lefrooth and Cailey and Marissa Nelson; one brother, Harold Donaldson of Strandquist, MN; and mother-in-law, Harriet Anderson of Middle River, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Corky on June 18, 1999; her parents; two children: James Lefrooth and Joy Lynn Lefrooth, both at birth; and two brothers: Jimmy Donaldson and Leslie Lagerquist.
